M31 The Great Andromeda Galaxy



M31 The Great Andromeda Galaxy is the largest of the group of Galaxies of which our Milky Way belongs.
It is located in the constellation of Andromeda and is about 2.5 million light years away.
This image is composed of 26 10minute exposures shot with QHY8 CCD Camera, and Orion 190mm
Maksutov Newtonian from my backyard observatory in San Antonio, Texas on 10/04/14 thru the early hours
of 10/05/14.
