NGC6992 Eastern Veil Nebula



NGC6992 Eastern Veil Nebula is a portion of the Veil in the constellation Cygnus and constitutes visible portions
of the Cygnus Loop.it is a faint supernova remnant, from an exploded start som 5000 to 8000 years ago.
From Earth perspective this object is about 1470 light-years away.
This image is composed of 20 10minute exposures shot with QHY8 CCD Camera, and Orion 190mm
Maksutov Newtonian from my backyard observatory in San Antonio, Texas on 08/03/14.
